The CARTV General Assembly will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2004 at 1:30 PM. This meeting is being held for all standing members of the Organic Production Accreditation Board.

3. Guide for good practices online
To help retailers, distributors and dealers better manage the flow of organic products in their facilities, the CARTV has published the Guide of good practices for handling certified organic foods destined for retail in Quebec.
This 40 page guide contains precious information on:
- Organic agriculture;
- Regulation system surrounding the organic designation;
- Obligations of merchants, distributors and retailers owing to regulation on the reserved designations in Quebec;
- CARTV's Monitoring Program;
- Organic Products Purchase Control;
- Good practices to be adopted in retail store or distribution centers to preserve the organic integrity of sold products.
Produced with the MAPAQ's financial support and with the collaboration of the Canadian Council of Grocery Distributors, of natural food coops and of large retail chains, this guide will be available March 1 st in PDF format:
