The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has recognized the Quebec Accreditation Board / Conseil des appellations réservées et des termes valorisants (CARTV) for its conformance evaluation system for organic certifiers operating in Quebec, in accordance with Article 205.500 (c) (1), of 7 CFR Part 205, Subpart F, of the National Organic Program (NOP).

This recognition has been published on the USDA Web Site.

In accordance with this agreement, the USDA regards the CARTV as being the only organization responsible for supervising the application of the National Organic Program on Quebec territory.
